Carol is a retired teacher who lives in Orange County near her two sons, ages 28 and 31. She has owned and loved horses, cats, rats, snakes, rabbits, 5 German Shepherds, a Portuguese Water Dog, and a Shitzu before she discovered Shutzhund.

Carol now owns only 3 year old Bram whom she raised from a puppy. He was awarded his SchH1 in November 2010. They are now working hard to refine their performance towards Bram's SchH2.

Kim has trained and competed with her dogs in Sheep Herding, AKC Obedience, AKC Tracking, Agility, Dock Diving, K9 Nose Work and of course, Schutzhund. Her dogs have competed nationally in Agility and Dock Diving, participated in The Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and Purina Diving Dog Tour, performed background work in a movie, assisted Animal Planet with Agility demo work and have also enjoyed the spotlight many times for the local television and print media.

Kim has been a professional Interior Designer since 1986, with her own business since 1998. She also began a dog training business in 2008 and currently teaches K9 Nose Work, a new sport for scentwork.

Kim achieved the SchH2 level on Oscar and a SchH3 on Emmy (HOT). Zen is currently training for Ringsport.
She has been a member of SCSC since 2004.

Herbert began training dogs in 1985 with a German Shepherd breed club in Germany, achieving a SchH2 on his GSD, Bommel. His club began training classes for the public and he was part of the training team helping people with problem dogs. He has worked with many breeds, putting a BH on a Cairn Terrier, his biggest challenge!

Herbert moved from Germany to CA in 2007 with his wife Tanja and a senior GSD, Kinna. Herbert started his own dog training business in 2008 for pet sitting and training. In 2009 he and his wife acquired Shiloh and then Dago in 2010.

Herbert joined SCSC in January 2011and is currently training Dago in Schutzhund.
